Shilpa Maheshwari is Managing Director – Strategy and Finance at Aavishkaar Group. She works on all strategic and new initiatives at Aavishkaar. She is also responsible for the financial reporting, compliance, and tax functions at Aavishkaar, largely making sure everything gets accomplished. She serves on the Board of few companies as Aavishkaar representative. In her previous role she was the CFO at Matrix Partners India, a Venture capital firm. Prior to Matrix she spent few years at a start-up, building its Finance function from scratch. Shilpa is a qualified Chartered Accountant and has spent few years with Audit assurance firms at the beginning of her career. She is passionate about giving back to the Society and works closely with Aavishkaar Foundation and few other Charities.
