R Gandhi

A distinguished central banker who retired as a Deputy-Governor from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Previously associated with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), having formerly led two regional offices of the RBI, and a former Director of the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), Hyderabad – Mr Gandhi was a member of the first Monetary Policy Committee.

Owing to his 30-years of experience in the banking industry, Mr Gandhi has championed various initiatives in payment and settlement system domain, financial inclusion, financial market regulation and operations, financial literacy and other key development projects.

At EPS, Mr Gandhi acts as an independent director to the board, helping support the company’s vision to deliver long-term growth and sustainable value creation for the shareholders.
