Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Electronic Payment and Services (P) Ltd., is well known for his in-depth knowledge, innovation and ingenuity in the retail technology banking space, including the microfinance domain. Mani is the first Indian to be nominated as an International ATM Industry Champion in April 2016 by the global ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) with over 3600 members in 60 countries.

With Mani spearheading the organization, EPS is on the Regional Board (India chapter) of the global ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) and an active member of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Payments Council of India (PCI), Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), as well as an advisor on the National Advisory Committee (NAC) of IBEX INDIA.

With over three decades of experience in Banking, Organization Development, Payment Systems and ATM Outsourcing & Shared Networks, Mani is known as The Architect behind Indian ATM Systems and was honored with the Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 award by Silicon India in December 2015. He is a regular contributor to the media and has been part of numerous forums, seminars and conferences on the ATM & Payment Systems industry in India. Mani is highly renowned for his business acumen, strategy and vision among peers and professionals in the banking community across India.

Erstwhile, as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at C-Edge Technologies Limited, a joint venture between Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (TCS) and State Bank of India (SBI), he was responsible for conceptualizing the implementation of a revolutionary transaction based ‘ATM Outsourcing Model’ which led to the Ministry of Finance initiated Brown Label ATMs in India.

As the former Chief Operating Officer (COO) of India Switch Company (ISC), Mani was highly instrumental in initiating Swadhan in 1997, the first shared payment network in India promoted by Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) for their member banks.

Sanjay Kapoor is a Promoter and Director at Electronic Payment and Services (P) Ltd. and is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the Information Technology, Retail and Realty industry in India. Equipped with a post graduate diploma in computers, he’s successfully managed startup businesses in Information Technology and Realty sectors across the country.

Fortified with an entrepreneurial spirit and a keen eye for new business ventures, Sanjay enjoys managing all facets of a company i.e. marketing, business development, client servicing, sales, administration, accounting etc.

Vineet Rai is the Founder and Managing Director of Aavishkaar and Co-founder & Chairman of the Intellecap Group of companies. Additionally, Vineet chairs the Board of Villgro, an Incubating and Funding Platform and Intellegrow, an Intellecap subsidiary providing venture debt services to Impact enterprises.

Aavishkaar is a pioneer Impact Investment fund with more than US$160 million under management.The fund specializes in seeding companies that generate return and create impact either through provision of livelihoods or by reduction of vulnerabilities by improving access to health, education, water, sanitation, energy.

Sushma Kaushik our Investor Director brings with her over 16 years of diverse experience in the field of early stage investing, small business incubation and financial inclusion. She has worked to identify, manage and exit large number of companies and has worked closely with several inclusive business entrepreneurs. She also works closely with many of her portfolio companies particularly when it comes to strategy, customer focus and financing.

She started off with an entrepreneurial venture in engineering design services and moved on to a role in investments in Real Estate and Hospitality as a part of the acquisition team at Starwood Capital India Advisors. She has extensively evaluated transactions covering debt and equity structures. While at Ashoka-Innovators for the Public, Sushma got to work with social entrepreneurs in the “Housing for All” initiative. She has worked closely on building collaborative partnerships in market based solutions for the low-income populations.

Sushma has completed a strategic leadership program at the prestigious Harvard Business School, she is an engineering graduate from RVCE, Bangalore and has an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Sushma holds Board-level positions in several other leading MFIs in India. Sushma loves solving problems and in her free time mentor’s startups across diverse fields. She likes to unwind by travelling and is an inveterate foodie!

Udayan is a keen proponent of technology driven reformation in banking and financial services and has exceptional domain expertise in this space. He is the coFounder and co-Managing Partner of Apis Partners LLP, which manages Apis Growth Fund I - a $250m private equity fund focused on investing in financial services companies in Africa and South Asia. He is also a Founding Partner at Anthemis Group and is a prolific investor, having made seed investments in (Bank)Simple, Azimo, Ininal, IOCS, Huddlebuy and Earthport. He serves as a Board Director with Moven and Zyfin and also advises several digital financial startups, including those in the Anthemis Group portfolio. He has led a number of innovation projects including, most recently, Zapp, a UK mobile payments system sponsored by Vocalink. Udayan is a much sought after commentator on digital finance and curates the very popular “Future of Money” annual session at Innotribe, SIBOS, where he also serves as a member of the board.

He was formerly the Managing Director and Global Head of Financial Technology Advisory at Deutsche Bank AG in the Global Financial Institutions Group based in London. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Udayan had specific responsibility for developing the pan-European specialty finance practice of Credit Suisse with a focus on financial technology. Udayan graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge with an MA (NatSci Tripos).

Vidya Mani Mamallan is the President of Human Resources and Administration of Electronic Payment and Services (P) Ltd. and holds a post-graduation degree in Economics from Mumbai University. Fortified with over 14 years of experience in the retail business domain of Bharat Petroleum, she has developed a strong business acumen for finance, accounting and compliance in the corporate sector.

Vidya is actively involved in developing organizational strategies in the HR department, by identifying researching human resources issues and is responsible for planning, directing and implementing various programs and processes i.e. employee performance management, recruitment, employee development & retention, resource management, training and education etc.
