Chief Financial Officer

A Finance professional with over 20 years work experience across finance and business roles in the financial services industry. He has functional expertise in resource mobilization, corporate finance, management accounting, financial accounting, taxation, treasury and company law. Further, Farroukh had also handled business roles involving business strategy, customer management, industry regulation, regulatory advocacy and general management.

Farroukh is an accomplished Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Management Accountant. Prior to joining EPS, he held managerial positions with leading MNCs and Indian organizations. He joins EPS from GE Capital where he was Vice President handling loan syndications. Prior to that he worked with REACH (Telstra, PCCW JV) as Country Representative, IL&FS group, Godrej & Boyce and Hindalco Industries.

Aniruddha Sawant


Mr Aniruddha Sawant is a recognized leader in technology and delivery of business value within the electronic transaction processing industry, with a unique combination of strategic thinking and focus on results. He is a decisive leader with deep industry knowledge and nearly 20 years of experience in financial services and payments technology.

He has joined ElectronicPay (EPS) as Director – Asia Pacific (APAC) to commence the company’s first journey to overseas. From Australia, he will be responsible for growing EPS’ business overseas starting with Australia and soon expanding to various countries. His primary responsibilities include formulating the company’s overseas strategy for EPS services offering, new application development and support, system Integration support for overseas clients, project portfolio management, platform integration and developing product suites.

Aniruddha has been in Australian payments Industry for the past 12 years and worked with various companies like Tata Consultancy Services, First Data Australia and FSS Technologies while in Australia. Prior to joining EPS, he was managing FSS Technologies Australia as an Executive Director and Delivery Head to successfully establish FSS as a new player in Australian payment space.

Mr Sawant has global perspective of the payment business with experience around the world like leading a consulting assignment in Montreal, Canada for Equifax’s transaction system, or executing a Payments business transformation for a very large retailer in Australia, Woolworths Limited.

Prior to moving to Australia, Mr Sawant has worked in Indian payments industry in the working with the likes of ICICI, managing their Switch integration and technology projects. He has also project managed many Switch integrations for various banks like HDFC, ABN AMRO, AXIS and SBI and other Indian banks.

Manohar Bhoi

President – Operations

Manohar holds over 20 years of overall experience in IT Projects & Operations, with 16 Years in ATM Transaction Switching, Processing & Operations Management. He has rich experience in implementing multiple switching platforms, managing large-scale ATM operations, SLA management and customer co-ordination. He was instrumental in setting up the first shared network payment system and ATM outsourcing project in the country and has also setup ATM Managed Services Centers for various organizations.

At EPS, Manohar is responsible for centralized operations and technical infrastructure of the company. An electrical engineer by training, Manohar has earlier worked for TCS, Euronet India, FSS and India Switch Company (ISC).

Thyagarajan Seshadri

President, Banking Relations at EPS, emanates as a visionary and a strategy revolutionist in the Indian ATM Industry, with expertise in driving corporate strategies to new initiatives in the payments domain thus contributing towards organic business growth by maintaining strong customer engagement, relations and excellence. He proactively paved way for Brown Label ATMs in collaboration with other notable leaders by introducing new business models in the industry. With a very strong interface with Ministry officials, policy makers and regulatory bodies, he has established sound relationships for a robust organisational progress. He has been successful in enforcing connections of EPS as a first board level member with ATMIA, a global ATM Industry Association to further facilitate ATM penetration in India to fulfil the Digital India initiative.

With more than 28 years of meritorious expertise and prudence, Thyagarajan is an active contributor and spokesperson at various national level forums, conferences and symposiums to amplify company credentials, introduce agile methodologies and reach new heights in the payments industry.

Along with being an avid reader, his interests and hobbies dwells in basketball, travelling etc.

Alap Shah

Vice President – Technology

More than 19 years of experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation of application development, which includes strong functional experience in EFT Domain. A perfect Payments domain expert with excellent knowledge of Transaction switching & Authorization. Alap has a proven track record of successful transition from developer to solution architect/pre-sales to heading switching payments practice and has demonstrated commitment to quality while leading project implementation for Indian & overseas customers including major system upgrades, EFT switch migrations along with implementation of innovative business requirements. In last few years, he has been instrumental in creating & managing payment talent for cross functional requirements including Card Management, Reconciliation, ATM Managed Services etc. He brings great knowledge of handling various international projects across different geographies worldwide for supporting offshore development for customers like ANZ Australia & ANZ New Zealand, inComm USA, AlRajhi & AlInma Saudi and many other.

Prakash M. Joshi


A renowned industry professional with over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry, with a keen focus on the Financial Services sector. He also has experience in business development of ATM Hardware, Software and Services product line across the country and has managed the Western Region as Profit Center Head for Diebold operations in India.

He has also been involved in ATM installations on turnkey basis with various banks. Prakash has attended several trainings and workshops including Banking Business Training conducted by NIBM , Pune, the Holden ‘Power Base Selling Workshop’ in NCR Atlanta and ‘Strategic Negotiations’ Training by Think Inc. USA



Chandresekaran has over 25 years of experience in the Banking and ATM industry and worked as a senior banking professional in Union Bank for over 16 years, in various capacities and areas of commercial banking of which 5 years was in the IT division of the bank, in its top-level policymaking and implementation division. Prior to joining EPS, he headed the ATM Field Services of FSS where he headed a team of 150 professionals and was highly instrumental in rolling out more than 5000 ATMs under the end to end outsourced model. Previously, he held the position of Assistant Vice President at India Switch Company (ISC). He holds a degree in Bachelor of Science - Agriculture and a Diploma in Banking Technology from Indian Institute of Bankers. He is also a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and has many firsts to his credit; from the 1st shared ATM network to the 1st IT Outsourcing in Banking in the year 2000. He also has to his credit the setting up of shared payment network systems i.e. BANCS and CASHTREE.

Pushpinder Singh


Pushpinder Singh has spent 33 years in large public-sector banks, where he has been exposed to the entire aspects of Banking functionalities. His association with plethora of technological facet within banks, from inception of automation in 1986 to the implementation of core banking solutions(CBS) in the year 2004, has displayed his perpetual contribution in the banking sector.

He was assigned overseas positions twice during his career where he engaged to take the onus of managing the data centre(DC) of bank’s CBS between 2004 to 2007. In 2007-10, he was deputed again as a project lead for bank’s DC, which hosted the application of all the overseas centres of the banks. Right from being instrumental in shifting the entire technology operations of bank’s overseas branches to India, to migrating the core banking solutions platform, his innate prowess depicts his esteemed offering as a holistic leader.

Post his retirement as General Manager (IT) & Chief Information Officer, he was associated with National Payment Corporation of India(NPCI) for a period of 3.5 years and was involved in overseeing the Financial Inclusion segment, new initiative verticals as well as all government initiatives, including segments of co-operative banks, RRBs and the AePS initiative.

At EPS he would be heading the digital payment initiative for the company.

Harish Prabhu


Primarily a Global Banker with senior level operating experience in South Asia, he has over 25 years of Business Development, Operating & Leadership experience in diverse businesses of Transaction (Including Global Payments), Institutional Banking, Investment Banking & Corporate Finance with banks such as JPMorgan Chase Bank (In India and US), Trans Arabian Investment Bank, Mashreq Bank, India (Middle Eastern Banks) and Credit Agricole Indosuez (French Bank) in South Asia.

With a specialization in both the global wholesale and Indian retail payments space, he also has an in-depth understanding of the principles/practices of global banking/financial services and trends as well as the rapidly changing landscape of the ‘Financial Technology’ sector, primarily pertaining to the retail payments space in India.

Till recently (March 2014 - March 2016), Harish was involved in the exponential business growth for India’s premier ‘Rural Banking Payments Technology Solutions Company’, providing RUPAY Debit/Kisan Credit Cards, IMPS, UPI, Mobile Banking, POS/Micro-ATMs and eKYC/Aadhaar Enabled Payment System i.e: solutions on the ‘NPCI Retail Banking Payments Platform’ to over 400 Semi-Urban/Rural Banks (including Co-operative, Local Area, Private, Public Sector Banks and Urban Credit Co-operative Societies) in 25 Indian states & 2 Union territories.
